Why you may qualify

You might be owed thousands

Lenders paid dealers commission on PCP and HP contracts that was often never disclosed to you.

01

Hidden commission

Some dealerships were paid commission you were never told about. If it was 10% or more of your loan, you may be owed compensation.

02

Inflated interest rates

Until banned in 2021, dealers could raise your interest rate to earn a bigger commission — a Discretionary Commission Arrangement.

03

Contractually tied deals

Dealers paid to push one lender often claimed to be finding you the best available deal. Yours could be eligible for review.

£7.5 billion is going back to drivers

A compensation scheme has been officially announced, with millions of claims paid out this year. The regulator estimates only 75% of consumers will take part.

Frequently asked questions

How much compensation could I receive?+

The FCA currently estimates around £829 per agreement between April 2007 and November 2024. Our clients have two agreements on average, which could mean £1,658 before fees. Amounts are never guaranteed.

What is the claim actually about?+

Lenders paid dealers commission that was often not disclosed to you. Where that commission was discretionary, excessive, or the dealer was tied to one lender, your agreement may have been mis-sold.

How much do you charge?+

Nothing up front. Our fee for a successful claim settled without litigation is up to 36% inclusive of VAT. If your claim is unsuccessful, you pay us nothing.

Can I claim for myself for free?+

Yes. You can complain directly to your lender, use the FCA's redress scheme, or go to the Financial Ombudsman Service free of charge. Using us means an expert legal team runs the process for you.

Will the credit check affect my score?+

No. We run a soft credit search to locate your agreements back to 2007. It has no impact on your credit score and isn't visible to lenders.

How long will my claim take?+

Payouts under the redress scheme are expected to begin this year. Complaining now means your case is assessed sooner than those who wait.
